Not only is this text really thorough in a medical sense (the scenarios covered fit a wide range of issues) but also it easily covers basic Spanish grammar that is vital to being well-understood by anyone, especially a patient. Also, the text comes with an audio portion that really helps with pronunciation. It’s a straightforward book that has a lot of tools for anyone in the healthcare field looking to improve their technical Spanish, without being overwhelmed. Although I work on the administrative end of a hospital and am a native Spanish speaker, I would definitely recommend this book to any nurses I work with.
