Decline in Politico Quality in a Kindle Version

I have subscribed to Politico on Kindle for years and I was very satisfied. As other recent reviewers have noted, for some reason the format has changed. A lot of the best long-form articles are gone! Really crazy change. I am going to cancel if this persists.

Good but overwhelming

I bought a single copy of Politico just to get a taste of what it was all about. I’d heard of it often on radio programs and news quotes and wanted to check it out myself. What I found was very in-depth coverage on just about everything going on in the world. Much of it delves into the political sides of the issues and as such can sometimes seem overwhelming. If I had more time to read it, I think I would enjoy it more, but it is not a quick read publication. Therefore, if you’re looking for a synopsis of the daily news, this is not it. If you want to explore the news in-depth, you might want to give it a try.

As a previous writer noted, the Kindle version has dropped the Politics section of articles and now starts with Morning Agriculture. Why the change? If this persists I will drop the subscription!

It’s all about politics, and more politics. If you want an online newspaper with a more diverse selection of topics, then pass on this. However, when it comes to political subjects or news then this is for you! It is really a superb online news source but Igave it three stars only because the diversity of topics is so narrow.
