I’m sure the book is great if you receive it. I received the 2nd edition in the mail not the 1st. Some may not see this as a big issue but I’m the kind of guy that expects the product to arrive as presented. So my one star ISN’T for the book itself but my experience.

This was a text in my master’s program, I now work developing education programs for personal trainers and use Neumann’s book as a prime reference. The author does an excellent job of describing how muscles function in vertical, upright movements as opposed to how they are often described from a horizontal, supine position on a table. This book is a must-have reference for any fitness professional interested in understand human movement as it relates to the environment
