This book was recommended to me by senior residents as it is a great overview on a variety of topics. It is not a textbook by any means, but it provides a wealth of information on topics if you need to brush up on something quickly.

Pros:
Well organized
Easy to read format — chapters may take ~ 15-20 minutes to read
Variety of topics, including critical care

Cons:
Not white coat friendly (too thick and too heavy)
Guidelines may be slightly out of date (as it was published roughly 5 years) — upcoming edition will likely remedy this
Wish it had a section for more practical matters in OB/GYN (e.g. knot typing, dictation templates)
