I’m on my second coloring page and found an error (plate 2.2)- it defines “sulci” as hills and “gyri “ as valleys, when it’s actually the opposite. Now I’m scared to keep studying with it. Unsure if there are more errors. 😣

I’ve gotten about halfway through the book – so far there have been errors throughout. Not only of commission [e.g. calling gyri sulci] but omission as well. Structures that should have been numbered are not, making it difficult to get a useful perspective, yet there are useless labels that serve only to clutter the field. As for the ebook, those of you who were denied access to this aren’t missing much. It is identical to the hard copy with some very poor coloring. In fact, at times the whole structure is not filled in making it hard to determine where it begins and where it ends. Finally, the text really needs a good medical editor. For example, run on sentences are rife, text is [it seemd to me] highlighted arbitrarily … etc. etc. Very disheartening.

Bought this book for my daughter to help with neuroanatomy. She loves the book but the code to access the e-book comes up as invalid. Would love to have access to that.

Relaxing and a LOT of content. Great gift

I am writing this review from the perspective of the gift giver, but I got this for my girlfriend who is going into a neuroscience program. She was absolutely ecstatic when she received it. I got the idea from one of her friends that this is a hot item for neuro students. Keep in mind this is meant to be fun but still studying at the same time. Obviously having a color coded book would be the most efficient but this is a relaxing and she loved it.

It’s basically a Neuroanatomy book with no color. Not a coloring book. No changes were made to facilitate ease in coloring things in. It’s just kind of a lame attempt at jumping on a fad.

I’m not a student, but I got this on a dare and really enjoyed it. The coloring makes you really pay attention to some very subtle details of neuroanatomy.

I initially liked this product. It comes with an ebook/app but the scratch off code was already scratched and someone already redeemed the code. Disappointing that it was not as advertised. I see another reviewer had the same complaint.
