These are Sam Kyllwood’s first words to Dr. Honor McDoval, after he’s arrested for being a ‘Fired Starter. and he realizes he’s speaking to an Enhance female, an Empath, and a strong human lie detector. Honor’s gift has really helped in her job as a Profiler, and Interrogator for Homeland Security. Sam feels connected to Honor, and with her ability to slide into a person’s mind has taken some of Sam’s gift of fire, as well as moving through different dimensions. Too bad neither can control it. Sam’s hoping that by mating Honor this will help them both in controlling their gifts. But, for some reason during mating, Sam’s mark won’t appear which would give Honor immortality. What’s wrong? Sam, and Honor must figure this out as they’re both pull into the dimension that holds the Dark Protector greatest enemy prisoner, Ulric.

Immortal Honor is Sam’s story and it brings us one step closer to the ultimate showdown between the Seven and Ulrich… although each book is a different couple, this is part of a series with an underlying arc… I highly recommend reading the entire series to get the most enjoyment out of this book!

I hate spoilers, which is why this review will be vague because this book is a Christmas present that you get to slowly unwrap to see what is hiding inside!

Sam and Honor are a fantastic couple and they compliment each other well, that doesn’t mean they won’t have struggles. I was giggling like a schoolgirl during their first few interactions because these two are a hoot! But then… the suspense lights up like a forest fire and Immortal Honor becomes a fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat PNR.

The characters in this book/series are fantastic, and we get glimpses of some of our faves from the Dark Protectors… and MAYBE… a secret visit from another FAN FAVORITE (not going to give that secret away here). The chemistry is flammable, the world-building is fantastic, the characters are loveable with independent voices and depth, and the storyline will have you flipping the pages so fast that your heart will sink when you get to the last page.

This series is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES and Rebecca Zanetti is one of my top five all-time favorite authors! Immortal Honor knocked it out of the park for me, and I can’t recommend this book or series enough! It is a must-read for anyone who loves PNR!

Honored to read this thrilling, mind-blowing story

I sit here in awe of Rebecca Zanetti’s imagination. In college she would be the student in Critical Writing that we would all want to be. I don’t know where she comes up with her storylines but I am so happy that she does. I opened Immortal’s Honor expecting certain things to happen. I knew Sam and Honor would mate just because they are the main characters. I knew that they would have challenges along the way. I knew that numerous characters from past stories in the series would make an appearance. What I did not grasp or realize was all the things that were going to happen along the way to Sam and Honor finding their happily ever after. I am one very happy reader. Grab on to your seat, you are in for a wild ride. Grab some snacks and a drink or two. You will not want to pause your reading of this thrilling, mind-blowing story. Be prepared to experience everything. Immortal Honor is so much more than a paranormal romance. It is action packed. It is emotional. It is twisted. It is unique. It is an edge of your seat suspense filled thriller.

Each Book is Getting More and More Repetitive

Immortal’s Honor is the fourteenth book in the Dark Protectors series. This is Sam’s story.

While I have enjoyed reading this series and getting to know the characters, the length of time between new books being published is taking it’s toll. I read over a hundred books a year, so it’s getting more difficult to remember who everyone is and to remember what happened in the previous book(s). The whole storyline with Hope, Drake and Paz is entirely too similar to the one with Zane, Janie and Kalin. Although I think Hope may be even more naive than Janie was, if you can believe that. It’s beginning to feel as if I’m just re-reading an earlier book.

Sam is a great guy and I liked him. Honor was great too. But just like with the earlier books, the heroine (Honor) is fighting against being mated. It’s the same thing happening over and over and over. Nothing new at all. You can mix and match the lead characters and basically get the same stories.

Garrett’s book is next. I do want to know how everything is going to end with Ulric, the Kurjans, the Seven and everyone else, but I may wait until the series is complete before reading anymore.
