Great book, BUT buy it somewhere else if you want to be able to open it!

I actually had to break out a pair of scissors and cut this book in places to get it to open. Dozens of the pages were stuck together in the top corners because they were likely not cut properly post printing. As well, many of the pages were stuck together at the spiral portion and the only way I could get them apart was actually tearing pages apart from each other leaving me with a flimsy half broken book in random sections. I took pictures unfortnuately after I ‘fixed’ the book because I needed it to finish a project immediately, did not have my phone, and I just couldn’t postpone for an online store review. The book itself is excellent, but for gods sake buy it from somewhere else.

Missing and duplicate pages

Missing pages 25-40 and have duplicate pages of 9-24. Did not notice until later and now I am stuck with a book that is missing pages.

I like this book. I purchased “used very good” I see some pages and makes me think it could be a photo copied book. I am looking into returning it and buying the original copy for a full price.

As an SLP graduate student (soon to be working in the schools full time after graduation!!) this book has been invaluable!! There are multiple suggestions on how to elicit all the English language sounds including vowels! I highly recommend to anyone who will be working with articulation kids!

This book has been really helpful as a young SLP in graduate school. It’s clear in its explanation and there are pictures that help. Of course, there are many different ways to prompt for sounds but this book includes multiple ideas for sounds and examples of how to make a verbal comparison for an older child.
