Nice book but choices too quirky

High quality book though translations in German and French limit textual info in English. Hotel choices are quite quirky, reflecting the author’s interests. Covers only limited parts of the country. would not recommend!
Beautiful & interesting coffee table book

What makes this book unique is that all of the hotels are “off the beaten path” and quirky- not the hotels everyone finds on trip advisor and booking.com. That being said they are not places most people could afford to stay in. However, it makes for an interesting coffee table read.

I love the choice of hotels in this book- there is something for everyone, from the minimalist lover to the fan only the 1950s. each hotel is described in English, German and French and the author has added book or film recommendations that match the hotel of choice. It’s the ideal book for the winter when you need a pick me up. Can’t wait to get the others in the series!
