The Writers
Antonio Ortega was born in Madrid, Spain. He completed his undergraduate education at Polytechnic University of Madrid and a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University. He has been a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC) for over 25 years. At USC he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses and conducts research. His current research is focused on graph signal processing, with interests in both theory and applications to multiple areas, including image, video and point cloud processing, remote sensing and machine learning.
