Maestra “I am highly disappointed with my purchase. Recently, I checked out a 2019 Prep Plus book from my local library and the two are identical. The purchase was made thinking that in nearly two years there might be a disadvantage to working with an outdated version. You would expect at the very least the practice tests in the back of the book would be different. Why put a year to a book that hasn’t changed? A better strategy would be to list it as a revision so the buyer would anticipate an updated version. This would give the buyer an option to purchase an older book at a better price without the perception that one is better than the other.”

Calvin Runnels “This book is generally a good study tool. But they clearly have not updated it at all in several years. For example: THERE IS NO LONGER A WRITTEN PORTION ON THE SCIENCE SECTION OF THE GED. This changed in 2018. But the 2019, 2020, and 2021 editions of this book ALL still falsely claim that you will have to write an essay on the science section. This is daunting to many students, and it’s irresponsible of Kaplan to claim that they are “GED content aligned” when they haven’t even done the bare minimum to align this book with the current form of the test! UPDATE YOUR BOOK KAPLAN”

Jazmyn “This book is great if you still remember the majority stuff from school and just need a recap. Personally, I didn’t remember anything because I’d been out of school for 6 years. I decided I wanted to get my GED and I wanted a workbook to help me. I did end up passing my GED but overall the book is poorly written. Don’t get me wrong the book did help, but when the book is explaining something to you, it expects you to already have some prior knowledge on whatever subject you’re learning. And If you truly are relearning something then your not going to have that prior knowledge. Overall this book did help me, but it was a little frustrating at times to have Google teach me something that the book is supposed to be teaching me.”

Zoey “I didn’t have much of a choice to get this book as I had to have it for my ged classes. I’ve only used it in my math class, I use other workbooks for other classes. However, it does have all four core subjects and has really good lessons and material for all four subjects.

One thing I appreciate about the book is the fact it doesn’t just give you the answers. It explains why the answer is correct. So, you’re able to see where you made a mistake.

I really love the book and the price is totally worth it. I haven’t ever had a book this cheap and be as good as this one. I’d definitely recommend the book, it’s helped me learn so much material.

If you’re looking for a ged book and aren’t sure which one to get, I highly recommend this one. It’s got so many lessons and chapters for you to learn. It’s also affordable which is just another benefit.”

Wes Sullivan “I bought this book to prep for the Ontario GED test, because it was the first option that came up when I searched “Ontario GED prep book” and got through almost 3/4 prep tests before I realized this book is for the American ged. And I can’t return it or resell it because I’ve written in it, and who in Ontario needs the American ged book? So frustrated with this purchase, because I saw no indication before receiving it that it was for the US ged test. Wish I didn’t write in it so I could get my money back for the correct book this time.”
