I was not happy with this book! I was expecting a book that would guide an International graduate step by step on how to obtain residency in the US. Information is not updated! Some information was useful but not worth the high price I paid for this book!

Excellent source of information for Foreign Medical Graduates who are just beginning to entertain the idea of entering a medical residency in the US. This books provides you with general and detailed information on what it is to come to the US, the exams needed to be taken, the application process, the matching process, etc. Again, useful tool for those foreign MDs curious to take the leap towards the US!

Its just Ok. Nothing more, nothing less

50% of the book is dedicated to info only usefull once you have already entered the residency. The other 50% gives general information on what are the steps to match. But this info is very general. The one you would already know if you are well informed. I believe this book would only be a “very useful piece of information” for those who want to became a doctor in america without any clue of what it takes.

Clinical Radiology MADE RIDICULOUSLY SIMPLE

I recommend this book for every student in their 3rd or 4th year of medical school.
This book is fairly thin and can be read during the first week of a Radiology Clerkship. It comes along with a CD so that you can practice reading x-rays. The only draw back to this book is that it focuses on x-rays and provides no information on reading CTs and MRIs

This is an excellent book for students who are very new to Radiology. The approach is great for beginners and I recommend that you have at least a novice anatomy background before using this book. You do not have to know anything much about Radiology to enjoy and learn from these authors. They are the perfect example of patient mentors with a caring approach. Strongly Recommended!!
