This is a super text for any dental student as a supplement to their course texts. It gives an excellent summary and overview of orthodontics, with clear, focused comprehensive text, supported by many explanatory photographs and diagrams. it is well structured, taking you through the whole process from pre-treatment, to treatment consequences and it is well referenced also.

Thorough and informative book, which gives you everything you need to pass the exam, including the mock exam papers. Also useful to keep and refer back to after your studies are over.

I decided to pick up this offer, for a simple reason.
I’m 71 years old.
My first and only encounter with a dentist in my first was when I passed my 11 plus in 1957.
Anyone who has been to a school dentist in the 50’s will understand, Yearly dental inspection in a grammar school back then.
It’s 60 Years ago, but I remember the dentists name, it was Wildgoose.
Awful experience my mam actually slapped him after his callous treatment. Many friends over the years who had been treated by him confirmed
His awful behaviour over the years.
On a road trip in 1964, I had an extraction under gas in Boston in Lincs, i was still scared of Dentists.
In 1974 I had the dubious pleasure of having a dentist nearly climb on top of me, to extract a a rotten, nerve exposed wisdom tooth.
Since then I had six month checkups with him (Peter Rabin in Stanmore), in the next 26 years I had only two, fillings, both with no local.
I live in the East Midlands since 2010, still have my twice yearly checks
I saw this book , and I thought I would have a read, glad I did.
I don’t understand all of it , but a lot of it is so well presented that any layman would enjoy this, and a dental nurse should have it in their library.
Lots of hi def photos, all in all a fascinating book
In saying all of this, very much expensive if it’s not an essential item for your profession
