Based in Keizer Oregon, Jeff Solheim is well known in the emergency nursing world. He developed a CEN review course in 2004 and has offered it around the country over 400 times since.

Jeff is a regular speaker at numerous nursing conferences around the world, known for combining his sense of humor with an “easy-to-understand” teaching style to make each experience an enjoyable one for all participants. He has been offering the CEN review at the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)convention annually over the past few years as well as being chosen to present the CEN review course live online with the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) for the past several years. Jeff’s CEN review course has been featured for numerous years as a pre-session at the Emergency Care Conference in New Jersey.

Jeff was the author and editor for the online CEN review course currently being offered by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) as well as MCStrategies. In 2009, Jeff released his own series of eight “pocket-sized” review books designed to help emergency nurses prepare for the CEN exam. There are four books in the “Pocket Pearls” series and four books in the “Pocket Practice” series.

Aside from his work as a speaker and author, Jeff is the President of a third-world not-for-profit medical organization entitled Project Helping Hands. The organization, founded by Jeff in 1994 regularly sends teams of medical personnel to locations around the world to provide humanitarian medical relief and health care education to the less privileged.
