Each book in this series is technically a standalone, though they are interconnected, so it will be recommended to read in order, as references to this story will be made in future books. Distorted is intended for mature audiences and open-minded readers ONLY! If you prefer the same old story, this book won’t be for you.

Dascha is the newest inmate at Alabaster Penitentiary. When he gets thrown to a solitary he catches the attention of Officer Kemper!
Their relationship is filled with dub-con and so much freakin heat! Gosh, those scenes were something else! Definitely panty-melting!

Officer Kemper was so dark, twisted, and possessive. Just perfect alpha!
And Dash, I loved him so so much!
Getting thrown into hell on earth, he starts to question everything about himself. His character growth and the journey he goes through just make him so precious and special. It’s impossible not to love him, and want to hug him and keep him forever!
And that epilogue! I was not ready for this book to be over! I’ll never forget Dash and His Officer!

Luthor was so lovable and of course Darcey most intriguing!

GAH!!! Where do I start? I won’t give any spoilers. So should I just say read it…trust me…you want to?
Okay, I’ll give you a bit more detail.
You commit a crime but instead of a normal prison, you get sent to one that’s meant to make you basically disappear from the world. Everyone else thinks you are dead, but here you are thinking surely you don’t belong here because your crime certainly doesn’t fit this punishment. So you try to make the best of it? If that’s even possible. Yea well, you try to make buddy buddy with your cellmate, he doesn’t seem so bad right. You get to know one of the COs, hey I mean you’re in here for the long run, mind as well, right?
But then you get a chance of a lifetime. You take advantage of it. And then that’s when things shift in the story. Here is where Nyla takes everything we think we know from reading thus far and says “watch this now y’all”. This is where I am not sure I am reading what I am reading or if I am remembering other parts I read the way I read them. This is where Nyla decides to test my very own sanity of the events in this book.
*cries* Amidst all the lunacy, we get to witness a love story. Two people who thought their lives were going one way, learning not only about the other person but about themselves. Teaching us as the reader, that ultimately, true love can conquer all. Couple that with the hot, steamy, raunchy parts and whoa, what an epic tale!!!
As always, Nyla has left me wanting more. She writes her characters so eloquently that you end up falling in love with them and wishing for them to come to life. I want more of the Penn, I want to know everyone’s story. The Inmates, the COs, the WARDEN!!!!! I want before, after and during. I want all the emotions Nyla is known to put us through while reading anything she writes.
Nyla gave me my top 2020 read and has just now given me a top 2021 read.”
