Good continuation, okay thriller

This is the second book of the series and can be read as a stand-alone. Mike Omer continues to build on Abby Mullen’s character arc in this narrative, giving a bit further insight into her past and present relationships. Unfortunately, as interesting as the premise sounded, the crime/thriller aspect of the narrative did not have the grasp it promised. The characters were too many and underdeveloped.

Yet another great Mike Omer book!!! I absolutely can not wait for the next Abby Mullen book especially if it’s going to go the way I think/hope it is !!!!! I didn’t think I could like another as much as Dr. Zoe Bentley but this is great!

J: This one was a bit disappointing. All of that conspiracy theory talk was repetitive and annoying. I found myself skimming over much of it to keep the story moving.

This is as riveting as the first in the series. His writing is excellent. I couldn’t put. It down. He did ignore some characters that really needed to either be eliminated completely, or given more to do.
I really like his writing style and want to read more. Since he left us with a cliffhanger, I don’t have much choice.

I read in a couple days. Was confused at first with the back and forth of characters, cabal etc. Didn’t understand but finally figured it out. Brought it all together and managed to keep you glued to the action. I know its a mystery but would of liked a little bit more development of carved and Abby. Hopefully in book 3. Very good book!!

Damaged intentions is a super sequel. The second installment of the Abby Mullen series has an extraordinary plot that is very deep with well developed twists. I can’t wait to read the third installment of this trilogy.

I always look forward to Mike Omer’s books and this one didn’t disappoint! This storyline kept you on the edge of your seat! The characters were believable and relatable. Great unexpected ending! So excited for the next one!!
