Coffee Table Book

This is really a coffee table book. If you love to rehash the material of Zora’s struggle with GM, half the book is basically just that. The second half is about the C8, and lightly touches on the engineered side and the design side of the car. It is much like a C7 Stingray book that came out when it was released.
This book doesn’t have the drama of All Corvettes Are Red, and doesn’t have the real engineering insights of Dave McLellans C4 book, but plenty of pretty pictures.

I have read this book cover to cover and it’s OK. The writing is not great nor is the detail with respect how everything came to be. Somewhat disappointing. It is basically a general overview of the history of the mid engine Corvette and how is finally come to fruition with the C8.
I enjoyed it but I was it left wishing for much more
