Buy this book. In some ways you can compare it to the Merck Manual for Critical care. It goes considerably beyond the Merck though. Good coverage of symptoms, lab and radiologic tests needed, gives x-ray and other radiologic studies photos of the condition being described, measures for treatment. Excellent reference book for the critical care worker. A must for Nurses and Respiratory Therapists in Critical care areas. Carry it in your pocket.
