vacation turned forever

This is the first book I have read by Gloria Daven. A very enjoyable read. Two people on opposite sides of the globe falling in love. Who would have thought a vacation could turn into forever. Although, their forever did not happen overnight. Both Ryan and Alice come from very wealthy successful families. How could a relationship last so far away from each other when their jobs demand they each stay where they are.
Ryan and Alice know they want to be together but didn’t know how. As they say where there is a will there is a way. They could not do it alone. They needed help. But who and how.
What I enjoyed most with this story is the importance of family. They are always there if and when you need them.

Alice and Ryan both come from powerful families with great businesses. Alice needed a break from life and to rethink her career path. While on vacation she met Ryan, They had a pretty strong connection instantly. While getting to know each other they eventually opened up about their families and their dynamics. This was a great story about family, making difficult career choices and falling in love with the right person. This book was very layered with a lot going on with the family drama coming from both sides. I enjoyed the family banter and the tough love they instilled on each other. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

2 people, 2 powerful families and 2 countries. Alice and Ryan go from vacation together to oceans apart. I really enjoyed this story and it felt like a great beach read romance. You can sit back and relax and get lost in the story. I received an advanced reader copy for free and I highly recommend this book.
An Ocean Between Them

This is part of the London Love Affairs Series but can be read as a standalone. It won’t take you long to get engrossed in Alice and Ryan’s story. Insta attraction but both were hiding their families wealth and prominence. When things clear and they come clean about their respective backgrounds another problem surfaces. How about an ocean and their careers. They were both very career oriented and family was important. How did they manage this cross continent love affair? This was a great book with strong characters and a story line was was captivating. I read an advance reader copy via Grey’s Promotions and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Ryan and Alice both come from successful wealthy families for two different sides of the world .. so when they run into each other on the beach in California for there first meeting sparks fly from first site or was it the first time they ever saw each other ??
These two are both professionals in there own right so when they want more from each other it is going to take some work to make it work .. is it worth it ??
Two continents, two families and two individuals in REAL love for the first time .. can they make it work ?? This is my first time reading Gloria and it was fantastic !!
