Coloratura Kiki “Those who read my reviews know I’m helping my niece study for the Certified Health Documentation Specialist exam. Anatomy and physiology play a large part of that exam. While the book has helped her a lot, this workbook has helped her even more. Besides covering all the “systems” of the body, e.g., the digestive system, the lymphatic system, the skeletal system, etc., this book has quizzes so the student can keep better track of his or her knowledge. The questions seem to cover just about everything that will be covered in the anatomy and physiology section of the CHDS exam. I can recommend this book highly to all those who are studying anatomy and physiology in high school or college or those who simply want to know more about the subject. Although the book is fairly comprehensive, it’s written so the everyday person can understand it, and it’s laid out in easily digested chapters. Things are explained fully, but not so fully that a med student could profit from this book. All-in-all, a great workbook for high school, college, or the casual learner.”

Helen van “I got this book because I wanted to work online quizzes. However the pin does not work. Not on dummies.com nor this other site it keeps telling you to long in which is wiley. I would avoid this book if you are looking for extra online help. The fact that it does not give me any online access due to the the invalid pin number gives this whole purchase a negative one star.”

Also, the material seems to be more catered towards high school classes or Biology 1 and 2 in college courses, and not as much Anatomy & Physiology to help me with Biology 3. My code still has not been scratched off, so it at least appears unused. I will update if it works or not.”

Chapter 17 is about Study Tips and Online Resources which I didn’t look at until a few weeks into my studies and which would have been more helpful at the start of the book.
I had already started to combine YouTube clips and Google images to help cement the great text in the books with visual aids ( which is how my brain learns best).
The Workbook asks the right type of questions to make you read and re-read the study material to help you understand the terminology and processes etc.”
