I bought this book to study for RVT exam and I am on the fence about it. Everything is in paragraph form, no charts or anything broken down. It is straight fact after fact and a lot of repitition. I guess its okay if you learn well with that format but I like to have things broken down into sections and charts to help me remember. There are no pictures, which I wasn’t happy about since the board exams have pictures.. I guess if you are not a very visual learning person this is a good book for you, but me being very visual this doesn’t really help me.

This book was horrible. It was like a glossary of vascular terms rather than a helpful study guide. there are no actual ultrasound pictures which is a must when preparing for this exam. And there are no practice questions. I honestly felt like a kid wrote this book. I also bought the vascular technology exam prep by ray gaiser and it was all i needed to pass my rvt. This book was a similar price but the difference was huge.

this book was less than useless,it gave no useful information.not one question, very minimal definition on vascular studies and not one test question to see if the book was helping. stick with anything else.
