Mike G. “I was looking for the ideal coloring book for our toddler, and this one looked promising. It’s a big book with quite a range of animals — a nice alternative to cartoon and movie characters. The pages are single-sided, which is a plus. However, it’s nearly impossible to tear a page out. I’m not asking for perforations, just paper that can be torn close to the spine without crumpling. Also, the artwork isn’t great: the animals all have similar faces, the backgrounds are unremarkable, every line has the same weight, and some of the drawings are closer to doodles. I’m still in search of a coloring book in this age range with a bit more personality.”

Deborah Edwards “This is an exceptionally nice coloring book. The pictures are simple enough for toddlers, but detailed for older kids and adults to enjoy, too. Each page has a common or exotic animal, bird, or sea creature with the name written above it to identify it. You also get to color inside the letters of the word itself, so it’s a great way to learn new animals! The drawings are beautiful and whimsical. The back side of each drawing is a blank white page, so there is no “bleed through” of another drawing from the back. I highly recommend.”

The outside cover is a nice matte material, durable enough to wipe off my daughters lil blueberry-eating finger marks. Pages are nicely drawn for simple coloring. Would definitely recommend!”

I thought the concept to be interesting…. and while I have a long list of books and reviews to complete… I skipped ahead to read Ken’s book. Most of the self-help books have four concepts weaved through chapters of the author’s personal experiences and those of friends, family, clients, and others; this book is no exception. The four concepts that are covered generally focus on goals; prepare based on the goals; execute to the goals; follow up and then repeat the cycle until the goal is achieved. While the author seems to have a genuine desire to help readers — there is not much new here unless you are interested in how he personally leveraged a change in career and proposes that others can follow in his footsteps. The good news is that it is a quick read… maybe I will find more when I go back through the Kindle book version that I also purchased with the Audible version which the author personally narrates.”
